CCEyes Platform
The CCEyes Platform often refers to the CCEyes central dashboard available to registered Users, where they can create and manage their Prompts. It can also refer to the CCEyes API, which is the primary means by which Providers interact with the system.
CCEyes App
A CCEyes App is a third party app that uses the CCEyes API to provide a specialized User experience. The CCEyes App is sometimes but not everytime officially supported by the CCEyes organization.
Provider
A Provider is an integral entity responsible for populating and maintaining its vast content repository. As the stewards of the platform's data, the Provider has a specialized interaction with the system, geared towards data provision and management.
User
A User consumes the CCEyes platform's content. The User is the primary consumer of the platform's content, and as such, has a specialized interaction with the system, geared towards content consumption, generally via the Website but also through third party apps.
Dataset
A Dataset is a collection of Production of a specific type by a Provider. Datasets are the primary content of the CCEyes platform, and are the primary means by which the Provider interacts with the system.
Production
A Production is a single piece of content, such as a movie, TV show, or book. Productions are unique inside a Dataset but could be present in multiple Datasets from different Providers. They are the primary means by which the User interacts with the system.
Metadata
Metadata is the information about a Production. All Metadata objects are officially defined and supported by the CCEyes engine. You can find the full list of Metadata objects in the Metadata section.
Prompt
A Prompt is a request for a list of Productions. A Prompt is created by a User and is then matched to a Productions list by the CCEyes engine. A Prompt can be created by a User in a variety of ways, including through the Website, through a third party app, or through the API.
